The End of our Crystal Ship

"The End of our Crystal Ship"
Acrylic on Canvas Board
16 x 20"
This one is inspired by The Doors. It was painted for a former romantic interest after we decided to break ties. It is one of my favorite pieces for the simple fact that when I look at it, I can still remember the feeling I had when I painted it. It currently sits in the residence of the person for which it was painted. The back of it holds multiple quotes by Jim Morrison, and one quote that is more extended than described here by C.S. Lewis: "To love at all is to be vulnerable."
